For procedures requiring anesthesia, we use inhalant isoflurane. This is a very safe and quick-acting anesthetic. We monitor patients using pulse oximetry, which measures oxygen levels of the blood, heart rate, and blood pressure.
Our cleansing baths remove dirt, debris, and pet odors. Our medicated baths contain soothing agents that relieve scratching and itching. Services also include a nail trim and ear cleaning.
We have separate facilities for our feline and canine boarders. We do require that boarding pets be current on their vaccinations (including Bordetella for dogs). Boarders can be dropped off or picked up during any of our regular business hours. After-hours pickup is available for an additional fee. Our boarding release form is available to print from this website, under Clinic Forms
We can perform surgery and offer in-house chemotherapy treatment to many of our cancer patients. We also offer referrals to board-certified oncologists when cases warrant such referrals.
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet’s teeth and health. Our services include dental scaling and polishing, extractions, and oral surgery. We use a Dental Focus digital x-ray machine for your pet’s dentistry needs. This allows us to view the oral health under the gum line and discover any hidden disease processes that would otherwise go undetected.
Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is a painful time. We work with our clients to ensure their pet’s comfort and dignity. We offer crematory services and pet viewings through a local crematory. Additionally, arrangements can be made for house calls.

Occasionally, we come across a case that we feel would be better treated by a specialist. Fortunately, we have an excellent relationship with many fine specialists locally and regionally. Some of these specialties include dermatology, ophthalmology, neurology/neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, oncology, emergency medicine, and after-hours intensive care.
Surgical services include both elective surgeries (ovariohysterectomy, castration, and declaw) as well as many soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures.
